Abstract

In this paper, to control the Euler angles of a three-degree-of-freedom satellite simulator platform with uncertain parameters an adaptive inverse dynamic control method based on the PSO algorithm is presented. The design of the controller is done in two steps, in the first step, the control coefficients of the inverse dynamic method are extracted offline based on the PSO. In the second level, using the adaptive control method, the system parameters are estimated online. In the second step, using the adaptive control method, the system parameters are estimated online for use in the inverse dynamic control method. The use of this approach increases the capability of the controller design. The performance of the controller design has been evaluated in the presence of disturbances and practical environmental conditions. The test results show the presented control approach controls the angles and the error of the angles is less than 0.5 degrees. Finally, the average integral criterion of the absolute value of the error for each axis has been calculated and compared with the two methods of PID control and adaptive PID control. The results show that based on this criterion, the proposed method has a better result than the other two methods
